“Point Cook sunglasses raid” |
Posted: 26 Nov 2010 06:10 AM PST AN eyewear store at Point Cook has been burgled for the third time in a month. Sunglasses worth more than $15,000 have been stolen during the three early morning break-ins at Sanctuary Lakes Eyecare. The latest was on Wednesday, November 10. Police said 60 sunglasses were stolen, just after 5am. The brands included Oroton, Guess and Nautica. It followed two separate break-ins at the store last month. The brands were Oakley and Rayban. Police last week released images of a car seen in the area during the latest break-in and ask that anyone who recognises the car or has been offered suspected stolen sunglasses phones Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. The store is at Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre on Point Cook Rd.
