Payday Loan Store Robberies Have Employees On Edge

Metro East, IL (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Detectives in both Highland and Wood River, Illinois are trying to track down a female robber, who's hit two Cash Stores in the last two weeks. In both cases, woman was wearing dark sunglasses and used a weapon. In Highland she used a hand gun and in Wood River, she used both a gun and knife.

Employees at both stores were shaken by the broad daylight robberies. So much so, that the door is now locked at the Highland store and customers are asked to remove headwear and sunglasses before they can enter the store.

Detective say the woman seem to know what she's do and is executing the robberies quickly and driving off. They're still looking at the surveillance footage from the stores to get a better description of the woman and vehicle used.
