LORAIN — A man donned a wig and sunglasses to rob the Chase Bank, 2232 Fairless Drive, yesterday morning, according to news reports. No one was hurt.

It was the second bank robbery in Lorain County this week, and the 12th in the county this year.

Lorain Police said the investigation was open and had no information to share yesterday, and the Cleveland office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation did not return calls about the case.

But according to news reports, the suspect passed a note to a teller a little before 10 a.m. yesterday demanding money.

No weapon was seen, and it is not known how much, if any, money was stolen, according to news reports.

The suspect was wearing a red shirt and a navy peacoat, and is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, news reports indicated yesterday.

A second man might be involved in the robbery, according to news reports.
